Hi when was updating adb side loader it processing upto 8hrs then i cancil it and reeboot the but not geetting reboot aftter reeboot itt goe to black screen . their no any file like backup recovery etc. plz tell me how to solve step by step because ii hve no more exprience.

Hi guys. I'm having this problem with my note 3
When my phone goes into standby mode, it either can't be turn back on or the phone restarts itself. I had to force restart by holding on to the power button for a minute till it reset itself. This problem started a few days back and it is getting more and more frequent.
Please advice.

Secure boot: image LNX checksum fail

Hi,
i have this tablet, it's a little bit long story, but i'll try to make it short as possible.

So - as You can see from title, when i try to turn on the tablet, it says this message: "Secure boot: Image LNX checksum fail"
I can't connect it to PC even through USB-USB, i don't have any computer that was connected to it before this, so i don't even have UID. In computer doesn't show anything, i tried a lot of manuals to recover it from that, but almost nothing worked, when i try to put the update.zip on the SD card, it says the same.

I would like to recover that tablet (it's not mine), bit it seems i can't do that. Can anybody help me? There are a lot of threads, although a lot of dead links.

So? Is there still some chance?

INSTALLATION:

1. Backing up files you want to keep the internal memory (photos, videos, documents ...). Also perform Backup user applications installed.
2. Perform, if you do not already have a copy of the EFS folder and save it in the extSDcard and PC. Check containing the correct files.
3. Download the ROM and copy the extSDcard.
4. Make sure before anything, I have activated in Settings/Developer Options "USB debugging" and uncheck "Lock reactivation" Settings/Security.
5. Turn off the phone and remove extSDcard
6. Reboot in Recovery and perform Full Wipes and Formats (including format /sdcard)
7. We turn off the phone and put extSDcard. Then we turn on Download Mode.
8. Download "XXU1CPF7" and install the base by ODIN (Run as administrator)
8.1. Only if Odin fails: put PIT.
8.2. If you're still no luck. Check out the FAQ below.
9. Let the system start and then turn off the phone to proceed to enter into Download Mode.
10. Downloaded and installed custom Recovery by ODIN (TWRP Recovery)
11. We turn off the phone, access the recovery and perform Wipes: Cache, Dalvik/ART, Data and System
12. Install ROM
13. Manually reset the system from the Recovery and wait 20/30min to initiate the ROM
14. Configure to your liking and enjoy!

Obb files to /data for better performance

Hi all!
I have an Honor 6, with 16 GB internal storage.
After I've installed many apps, I have about 6 GB free space, so I decided to move my favourite game to the internal storage for better performance/loading times (~1,5 GB), but I can't.
If I just copy the obb files to internal memory, when I start the game it starts to download the whole 1,5 GB again to the external SD.. Doesn't use the files from the internal storage.

However I still want to use my SD Card as primary storage location by default.
I am rooted.
Link2SD, App2SD not working.

Is there any way to set the app, where to search for data files?

As you might have guessed, I have compiled our latest kernel, and on my end it looks fine, but I don't want to add features and stuff if there's something missing, so I need your help to test it.

Right now I haven't added much, just enabled some CPU governors, so you can play with that, if everything looks fine I'll start with the real tweaking.

Samsung Cloud Question

My Note arrived. It's great but weird having used iPhones for the last 6 years. I feel somewhat uncomfortable using it but that's because I'm still finding my way around.

Anyway I have a question. I don't get how to use Samsung cloud. I don't get how to back up my photos. It's saying I've used 150MB of cloud storage but I have around 1.5GB of photos. I've also moved all my photos from SD card to internal pictures folder. Any help?

I already have the firmware and Odin. What do i need to do? Just flash Stock firmware in download mode? Wipes?

I need help with lg g4 h815 (lte problems)

So since i have the phone the lte bands are not working, i dont know why, but the thing is that when i do the field test>modem settings >lte band section, all the bands dont work, just say fail.
So i try to unlocking lte by dfs cdma tool, but no lte tab was displayed only the gsm and wcdma(and all the bands checked). What can i do to get lte working?

I downloaded stock rom from ASUS Website and extract to get droidboot.img, boot.img and recovery.img. But after flashing them by fastboot, my phone just stuck at logo, i cannot access fastboot anymore. After staying at logo for about 1 minute it automatically reboot and repeat again and again

Overscroll Action
Overscroll Action is an odd one. You can add functions to the overscroll action in chrome. So while you're within chrome and you scroll down from the top, an action will be triggered. I'm trying it out and it works and everything, so I'll see if it becomes something I start to use regularly.

After that I have brick my device.
When I push power it shows only for 1 s miui logo and after that red led is blinking.
When i plug it to my computer it shows that it couldn`t recognize the usb driver, when i go to the menager it shows that it is decrypted).
I could turn on fastboot mode but it not helping beacuse my comp doesn`t see device in fastoob/adb mode.. (i have good drivers - i do a lot of diferent flash by fastboot).
Maybe you have some advice for my problem. I loose TWRP ;( .....
I trie to disconect battery (open the body) but it not help.
Please hepl me!

Huawei watch current version, speaker, keyboard

Hello, I got the Huawei 651F watch yesterday (bought from amazon.de) and I wonder which is the latest software version?

I'm running on Android Wear 1.3.0.2421912, Google Play Services 9.4.52, Android OS 5.1.1 . I think there is a new version out (which supports speaker and keyboard), but when I click on "System Update" it says my system is up-to-date!

Any ideas?

Rooted but not...?

I have a G935V Verizon GS7e. I rooted it using root.bat from SuperSU-v2.74-2-S7QC that multiple guides seem to call for (after flashing whatever it was, I don't remember what guide it was). I already had PF2 firmware when I started.

The guide I used didn't say not to update SU binary, and nothing works with root, and it wanted to (only "needs to be updated" -- it wasn't saying it wasn't installed at all, so that's good), so I tried several times and it failed. I re-did root.bat in case that caused any issues.

Root Checker by Super User says I'm rooted and SU binary is present.
Root Check by JRummy Apps says I'm not.

and I can't run anything as root (FlashFire, Build Prop editor from JRummy).

What should I do? What's going on? I did notice my phone got a little laggier :(

Also, the VoLTE icon(s) appear at the top now, and they didn't used to before.

Hi guys, I'm on l29c636 b321 originally and i wanted to downgrade to b200. so i downloaded the b200, and use extractor to extract system, cust, recovery, and boot off the c636b200 firmware. then i proceeded to use fast boot flash to flash. however, now my phone can't start. can anyone help???

Getting new phone, need advice on what to get.

Hi I am fairly new to rooting in general, at the moment i have a rooted Note edge (SM-n915t) and have had lots of troubles with stuff like xposed. Anyway im getting a new phone soon and was just wondering what would be the best option of the newest android phones to get (which would give me the most freedom to explore what i can do with a rooted phone.) it does not have to be a samsung phone, just as long as its android, doesn't generally have problems (like bootlocking) just something that gets developed on alot .

Flashing Stock 6.01 (PG1) from sammobile, the device wont boot post install

Hello everyone, I need some help here.

I downloaded the latest from sammobile

G900PVPU3CPG1_G900PSPT3CPG1_G900PVPU3CPG1_HOME.tar .md5

and ODIN v3.12.3

I placed the tar file in the AP slot, installed everything, I receive the final okay and the phone reboots to the stock samsung boot animation, and just sits.

Does anyone have any idea why I can't seem to get past the boot animation?

I can pull the battery and install TWRP, and boot to recover fine, but no matter how long the device will NOT get past the boot animation.

Is it possible that I have a bad download? Can I "downgrade" to PE2, without risk of bricking the device somehow?

Redmi 3 Pro with China rom: how to install global rom?

As the title said, I got a chinese Redmi 3 Pro (from this site) and I want to install the current global stable rom.
I asked xiaomi the unlock code and I got it (as stated in the italian directions from the website where I bought it), but before starting I just want to check that I was doing the right thing and ask a few questions.
I have some previous experience with my Mi4i, but better safe than sorry.
I will unlock the device with MiFlashUnlock, and after that I will boot twrp (fastboot boot twrp.img) and wipe System, Data and Boot partitions and then install the global stable rom from this link.
Is this correct or I will need to do other things?
What is the difference between the official global stable and the xiaomi.eu version? If I choose the xiaomi.eu version will I have ota updates or I will need to reflash manually the updates?
In the xiaomi forum there are threads about the MIUI8 global stable, but the download link point to the MIUI7. I will get the OTA update after flashing MIUI7?

I just tried to root my device with iroot...after completion..I got kingroot in my phone as a system app...even after this I couldn't get root access(i chked with sme root chcking app)...and what is the problem is now I cant remove kingroot from phone...

first thing first make sure you have a ROOTED phone .

3. Open build.prop and grant it root access.

4. search for the keyword Model and you will get a line named (ro.product.model) you have to edit that line to OnePlus A3003
( The reason to edit your phone model to (OnePlus A3003) is cuz snapchat is highly optimised on oneplus 3 Hongkong variant ) and when you change the model number , snapchat servers detects as if you are using the one plus 3:good:

5. Confirm that the phone model has changed to OnePlus A3003 by opening build.prop and searching for the model number .

6. Restart your phone and download snapchat .

I found solution for better touch responsive on Huawei G7. I am using it on stock lollipop firmware (rooted) c432B350 and it works :good:

To increase touch responsive go to /system/usr/IDC and open fingerprint.idc file with root explorer

then find

touch.pressure.scale = 0.0125

and chang it to:

Cm13 storage problem!

Hello everyone!!!!! Three days ago I flashed an unofficial cm13 rom on my device. Of course there are some annoying bugs but there is one strange bug. I HAVE ONLY 1.45GB INTERNAL STORAGE!!! When I saw that I couldn't think what could 'eat' the rest 6.5gb of the internal storage... Does cm13 uses 6.5gb when it is flashed???

Cyanogen OS theme engine allows to change the theme and the icons and wallpapers. But does it allow to change the icon per app basis. In Oxygen OS they allow this .

Greenify doesn't recognize Xposed Framework - an old problem returns

I just started seeing a problem that I thought had been fixed - and now I can't seem to find a solution myself. I had previously had Greenify working happily with the Xposed Framework, but now it has stopped doing so. Every time I enter the Xposed-based Features menu and try to enable anything, I'm taken to the Xposed Setup Guide screen, with only the "ACTIVATE MODULE, REBOOT" button enabled. This in turn takes me to the Xposed Installer; clicking on "Framework" tells me that Xposed framework version 86 (previously 85 - I tried updating but it didn't make any difference) is already active. No amount of rebooting, cache-clearing, or re-flashing seems to help. The problem appears to have re-appeared within the last week or two (I'm not sure exactly, since the only way to know there's a problem is to go into Greenify settings and check). Here are the details of my setup:

Samsung I9300
Cyanogenmod 6.0.1, 26 August 2016 "nightly" version
Greenify version 2.9 (I signed up for Beta within the last 24 hours - but I don't see any indication that I've received any Beta updates)
Xposed Installer 3.0 Alpha 4
Xposed Framework V86-sdk23-arm

The only thing I see in the Xposed log that seems at all helpful is this:

Loading modules from /data/app/com.oasisfeng.greenify-2/base.apk
File does not exist

Anyone have any ideas about what's going wrong here?

Battery life twice as long on wifi vs 4G

Well it sort of explains itself. Battery life on my Samsung S7 is about 2 days with my usage when connected to wifi. When I shut wifi off and only use data I get a max of 1 day .... the battery drain is significant.

I am pretty sure that this is a android bug, because this is the second mobile I am experiencing this battery drain with.

Use to have a Sony X3 Compact and bought the X5 Compact cause I loved the battery life so much. Much to my disappointment the battery life of the X5 was about half that of my X3. I even experienced it draining a full battery and switching off during one night. I of course was convinced that the X5 must have had a defect battery and got it changed. It didn't help and after getting the device changed for a brand new mobile with no better result I demanded my money back.

So know I bought the S7 and the only thing I can pin this problem on is the "phone radio bug" that exists on the newer versions of android. My HTC One Mini and Sony X3 Compact running KitKat have normal battery drain running 4G. My HTC X5 Compact and Samsung S7 handsets are just going through the battery like crazy on 4G even though they should have much superior battery life.

It amazing how many people have this battery drain problem and yet there is absolutely no sign of any official statement on this to be find on the internet.

Please ..... anybody have any experience like this.

Screen ghosting LG G4

Hey guys,
Yesterday I noticed some screen ghosting on my LG g4 on the top right where the battery icon, signal status etc are. I turned it off for 6 hours and noticed it got slightly better then i used an app which stimulates all the pixels on the screen for about 8 hours by flashing different colours. After this all ghosting went away but after i used my phone for about 2 minutes it made a new ghost. Please help me fix this permanently. I am currently using the same app with the intention of keeping it on for a full day.
